It’s on!

After what seems like months of distractions the CB360 project is finally rolling along at a good clip!  Our first delay was that we had a cold snap here in Bend for a few week,s and the shop that is not attached to house was too cold to paint in.  We are all for having motorcycle projects in the house, but paint fumes are not the healthiest way to fall asleep.  Once we got the wheels all painted we brought them over to the Motoshop and had Brandon slap the Firestones on.

Once we had the wheels all mounted up we could finally check out the CB’s stance and decide what we needed to do to the frame, as well as decide on shock length. We are going to keep this one a little bit less slammed then the CL450 as it is going to be a 2 seater.  Turns out it looks pretty damn good at the stock height.

With the stance looking good we will be hooping the frame in the near future then can get working on the seat pan along with sorting out where we are going to hide all the electrical…. fun.  In the mean time we put in the new wheel bearings and have been prepping the engine cases, brake drums, and fork.

We also replaced all the old phillips head bolts with a stainless hex bolt kit.

We are stoked that the  bike is finally starting to look like a proper Spin Cycle bike! We are already getting excited to ride it!
